In an era of mass-produced, chemical-heavy skincare, there is a profound beauty in returning to the basics. For many, a bar of soap is just a utility; for Harsshita, it is the culmination of a lifelong love for botany, a passion for pure ingredients, and the grit of a “women entrepreneur” building a legacy from the heart of her home.

Meet Harsshita Niranjan, her journey didn’t start in a factory, but in the quiet corners of her kitchen in Hubli, fueled by a B.Sc. in Botany and the desire to create something genuinely safe for her children. Today, as the founder of Beautree Organics, she is proud to share how a simple hobby transformed into a thriving “small business”.

I have always believed that nature gives us its best when we treat it with respect.
Growing up in Pune, Harsshita’s fascination with plants wasn’t just academic – it was personal. While an MBA in International Business taught her the mechanics of the market, it was her Botany roots that whispered the secrets of medicinal herbs and beauty-enhancing extracts.
Becoming a self-made business owner wasn’t about escaping family life; it was about integrating my knowledge into it.
Watching her father build his business from scratch and seeing her husband, Malatesh Niranjan, manage the Shri Sai Group of Industries with such passion gave Harsshita the blueprint she needed. She didn’t want to choose between being a mother to her two children and a professional; she wanted to create a third path.
The heart of Beautree Organics lies in the integrity of the process. Harsshita didn’t just start selling; she started learning. She went back to the basics with a certified course, followed by months of trials and honest feedback from my harshest (and most loved) critics: her family and friends.
Our handmade soaps are designed with a specific purpose in mind. Whether it’s a charcoal-based bar for pimple-prone skin, a specialised formula for tanned skin, or deeply moisturising bars for the dry winter months, every product is free from harmful chemicals, says Harsshita
Because she handcrafted, packed, and digitally marketed these herself, she can guarantee that what touches your skin is as pure as the ingredients she uses for her own kids.
“No woman is an island, and every small business needs a foundation”. While Harsshita is the one making the soap at midnight or in the early hours of the dawn to ensure she doesn’t miss her children’s milestones, she is not alone.
My husband has been my pillar, providing the financial sponsorship and moral encouragement to turn a “home project” into a brand.
From brainstorming the logo to deciding on the name Beautree Organics, her husband has supported her throughout the journey. This support system is what allows her to balance the “emotional weight” of being a working mother.
“To my fellow women looking to start their own path: start small, but start. You don’t need to have every answer on day one” – Harsshita Niranjan
Harsshita’s growth has come from introspection, resilience, and staying anchored to her “why” – which is to bring health and confidence to every household.
Today, Beautree Organics serves a loyal community of customers who found it through word-of-mouth and shared WhatsApp videos. It’s a testament to the fact that when you offer consistency and top-tier quality, the world notices.
Handmade soaps are more than just cleansers; they are a daily reminder to slow down and nurture ourselves. As she continues to grow this small business, her goal remains simple: to reach every household with a product that makes people feel beautiful, grounded, and connected to nature.
